Three years ago, eleven young researchers joined the AWESOME project to carry out their PhD on wind energy O&M. After this time and due to their supervisor’s and their own efforts, the results of their studies are ready to finished, having accomplished all the project objectives.
AWESOME has achieved to deliver a remarkable number of scientific publications, as has participated and attended a vast number of conferences, where the researchers have been awarded in several times for the quality of their works.
Now that their participation in the project is about to finish, the partners celebrated a Supervisory Board on June 19th at the Polytechnic University of Milan (Italy). The meeting included a visit to the laboratories of the faculty, as well as a final researchers workshop.
At this part of the meeting, each researcher presented to the AWESOME network the motivation, methodology and results achieved in their PhD.
